DIY Improvements

Took the older static layout for Do-It-Yourself Guides to a more engaging layout with larger images and incorporating helpful videos. Theses pages were the first fully responsive pages at Home Depot seamlessly scaling down from Desktop to Mobile devices. Engagement increased 800% initially and has sustained a 300% increase over time from the previous design. We discovered people doing projects like the hands free benefits of videos!

Vanities Improvements

Redesigned several of the Bath Category experiences after analysis of heat maps and other Key Performance Indicators. Switched from a short and wide Header layout to a more vertical design to compliment the taller products such as vanities and Showers. Customers wanted to shop by width for these items so we created new navigation at the top of the page to get them into the shopping funnel more quickly. Bath was deemed the breakout success for 2015 after these changes.
